Arup Dasgupta
Managing Editor, Geospatial World. Former Deputy Director at the ISRO. During his 35-year stint at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Dasgupta has spearheaded several prestigious projects of national importance and pioneered the introduction of geomatics in ISRO in 1985.
He has significant and original contributions in convergence of information and communications technologies in the area of geospatial systems and applications, notably on SDIs.
