US: Woolpert — an architecture, engineering and geospatial firm — has bought the Electronic Logging System business of Cincinnati-based Landrum & Brown. Electronic Logging System simplifies record keeping on certification inspections and compliance with Federal Aviation Administration requirements. The tool also offers a collaborative work platform and common operational picture for airport operations staff.
Additional system features include real-time notice to airmen, vehicle tracking, wildlife-hazard reporting, safety management system reporting and computerized maintenance-management system support.
Woolpert has about 630 total employees across 24 offices and nearly 190 in the Dayton area. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
