Amid rapidly evolving geopolitical dynamics and emerging security challenges across the Indo-Pacific, the Indo-Pacific GeoIntelligence Forum 2026 (IPGF 2026) will convene senior defence leadership, strategic policymakers, intelligence agencies, and technology innovators on June 2–3, 2026 at the Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi.
Organized by Geospatial World, the 16th edition of the forum will deliberate on the theme: “Geospatial Infrastructure Enabling Network Centric Warfare.” The forum will examine how geospatial intelligence, space-based assets, AI-enabled systems, and secure digital infrastructure are strengthening operational preparedness, decision superiority, and integrated multi-domain operations.
As defence forces across the globe accelerate the transition toward data-centric and technology-enabled warfare, IPGF 2026 will serve as a strategic platform to address emerging operational requirements across land, maritime, air, cyber, and space domains.
Highlighting the significance of geospatial systems in modern military operations, the Directorate General of Information Systems (DGIS) has consistently emphasized the role of geospatial technologies in enhancing situational awareness, operational agility, and mission effectiveness for the Armed Forces.
“We are excited to be a Knowledge Partner with Geospatial World at IPGF 26. This is a unique and invaluable opportunity to collaborate with technology experts, industry and academia to help formulate a security strategy for the Indo Pacific”– Lt Gen Harsh Chhibber, AVSM, VSM, PhD, Director General Information Systems (DGIS), Indian Army
Speaking on the strategic relevance of the forum, Lt Gen AKS Chandele, PVSM, AVSM, PhD (Retd), President – Defence, Geospatial World, stated:
“Future conflicts will increasingly be defined by information dominance, integrated intelligence, and real-time operational awareness. Geospatial infrastructure has become a force multiplier in enabling network-centric operations and strategic decision-making.”
IPGF 2026 is expected to witness participation from:
- Senior leadership from the Armed Forces and defence establishments
- Government ministries and strategic agencies
- Global defence and aerospace organizations
- Space agencies and GEOINT experts
- Industry leaders, startups, and academia
- Armed Forces from Indo-Pacific nations
The forum agenda will feature strategic plenaries, operational case studies, capability demonstrations, and leadership dialogues focused on:
