The US-based OmniSci has entered into collaboration with Z by HP with an aim to bring the power of advanced data analytics to the HP Z8, the most powerful workstation. OmniSci’s accelerated analytics platform helps analysts and data scientist to provide the ability to check datasets at their workstations. This helps in overcoming operation hurdles and costs presented by cloud as well as server-based deployments.
Omni provides accelerated analytics at a large scale. It has the potential to process and visualise a huge number of data in milliseconds, helping geospatial and business analysts as well as data scientists to get new insights from internal as well as external data.
After the preloading of OmniSciDB SQL database engine and OmniSci Immerse data visualization interface in the Z8 workstation, users are able to get the extreme speed and interactivity of the OmniSci platform in a secure and personalised hardware solution.
Speaking about the collaboration, Jared Dame, Director of AI and Data Science, Z by HP, said, “”We are dedicated to delivering the best user experience in all our solutions, including mobile and desktop workstations for professional creators and power users.”
“OmniSci offers the advanced performance necessary to satisfy the new era in intensive data analytics, making it an ideal option for our Z8 workstations,” he added.
The Z8 is available with over 56 cores, 48 TB storage, 3 TB of high-speed memory, apart from 2X NVIDIA Quadro RTX 8000 graphics for clarity as well as high speed.
