Hexagon Geospatial gave a sneak on the Power Portfolio Suites during HxGN Live 2014. From this December, it has started the marketing campaigns unveiling the Power Portfolio Suites. It has now also released the news officially about the launch.
The suite is segregated into Producer, Provider and Platform suites that combines the best photogrammetry, remote sensing, GIS and cartography technologies.
Under the Producer Suite, they will be providing the desktop GIS, remote sensing and photogrammetry softwares – ERDAS IMAGINE, GeoMedia and ImageStation. This suite is aimed at users that are primarily focusing on collecting, processing, analysing and understanding geospatial data.
The Provider Suite, aims at users who are concerned with storing and organising the geospatial and business data in a centralised manner. This suite comes with the ERDAS APOLLO and ECW products.
For all those who work on developing client side applications and solutions, the Platform Suite provides following products GeoMedia Smart Client, GeoMedia Web Map,Geospatial SDI, Geospatial Portal, Mobile MapWorks and Mobile Alert applications.
Hexagon’s HXGN News shows that it has started targeting Utilities, Disaster Management, Agriculture and Homeland Security domains at this point in time.
