The A-76 iceberg, the largest in the world, has just separated from the Antarctica’s Ronne Ice Shelf. The satellite images of the finger-shaped iceberg were captured by European Space Agency’s Copernicus Sentinel-1 mission on 13 May. A-76 has a surface area of 4,320 square kilometers (1,668 square miles) and a length of 175 kilometers (106 miles), and a width of 25 kilometers (15 miles), making it the world’s largest iceberg.
