The Oregonian created a near real-time earthquake map for Oregon

< 1 Minute Read

The Oregonian a leading daily has created an interactive near real-time earthquake map for Oregon, which is updated every 15 minutes. There are many websites, including the likes of U.S. Geological Survey that show recent earthquakes across the globe. But, underwater features are not a major component in them. The new map, created by The Oregonian, reflects both the ocean floor and surface topography. This has been made possible by including observations from the National Geodetic Survey, the General Bathymetric Chart of the Oceans and map publisher Delorme.
