– Raytheon is planning to develop the capability to support a 2016 mission planning of DigitalGlobe’s WorldView-4 satellite.
– Raytheon’s Constellation Scheduling System (CSS) is the commercial geospatial mission planning system.
WorldView-4 will be the fifth DigitalGlobe satellite to have planning and scheduling support provided by CSS.
– The system runs routine planning and scheduling automatically.
– It allows DigitalGlobe to focus on fulfilling customer orders for specific imagery.
– CSS provides automated costs and resource competence.
– The 2016 launch of the satellite, from Vandenberg Air Force Base, will be supported by Raytheon.
