Teledyne Optech has appointed a new president for its US operations. Dr. Mark Whorton has been roped in for the development of the Optech Coastal Zone Mapping and Imaging LiDAR. He will also work on the company’s line of digital aerial cameras. It should be noted that Dr. Whorton is not new to the Teledyne group of companies. He has been serving Teledyne Brown Engineering as Chief Technology Officer since October 2014. Before that, he was the Director of Commercial Earth Imaging.
