We have learnt that EagleView Technology is going to be acquired by Vista Equity Partners. Vista is a private equity firm focused on software, data and technology-enabled businesses.
EagleView, which has already made a name for itself in aerial imagery, looks to address underpenetrated verticals under Vista’s ownership.
Robert Smith, who is the Chairman and CEO of Vista Equity Partners, says that he is impressed with EagleView’s ability to capture high-resolution imagery, and extract Big Data for a wide range of industries and customers.
The transaction is expected to close later this year. Financial terms have not been disclosed.
