A video showing a close encounter between a civilian drone and a fighter jet in China has brought light to the need for tightened drone regulations in the country. The video was captured by a private drone hovering above an unspecified city. It filmed the fighter jet when it flew by no more than 500-meters away at the same altitude. Aviation experts say that this was a very dangerous situation. More stringent drone regulations are needed because there is a growing risk that drones can disturb civilian and military fights, compromise national security or infringe on privacy of the people.
