Autodesk is hosting its flagship annual user event Autodesk University in Las Vegas. And the company has just made a big product announcement. The software corporation has announced Autodesk BIM 360 Docs, which is a comprehensive, Cloud-based service for the construction industry. The solution provides a virtual workspace to create, access, maintain, markup and share 2D and 3D project documents. It enables users to save time, and reduce risk and errors in projects by connecting team members through real-time access to construction documents throughout the project lifecycle. Currently, Autodesk is accepting reservations for a limited release and free preview version of BIM 360 Docs. The product will become available to general public in early 2016.
