88 Planet Doves part of ISRO’s 104 record satellite launch

ISRO will create history by launching a record 104 satellites on February 15. Out of 104 satellites, only three are Indian satellites. 88 satellites are from US, the rest from Germany, Israel, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Switzerland and UAE. 88 Planet Doves part of ISRO‘s 104 record satellite launch. They weigh around 5 kg each and are called ‘Doves’ or Flock 3p. It will be the record largest number of cubesats to be flown in a single launch. Planet has chosen ISRO’s PSLV launch for the second time. It got its earlier set of 12 ‘Doves’ launched in June 2016.
