Mapping Bhutan’s Rugged Mountains and Diverse Ecosystem

In an interview with Geospatial World, Chokila, Superintendent Survey Engineer, Department of Survey and Mapping, National Land Commission, Bhutan speaks about the challenges of mapping difficult terrain and diverse ecosystem in Bhutan. He also shed light on the digital roadmap that Bhutan is working on, especially for surveying and mapping, and how they are using Geospatial technology for collecting important land information to enhance their decision support system and planning.
