Semiconductor prices have dropped so much since 2007-2008. Real-time data storage is getting traction everywhere, which is an agnostic, cross-industry happening. Some of the big challenges in industry are contractually related. For instance, if we look at different countries, some contracts prevent progress. However, from a technology point-of-view, there’s already so much technology out there, so we are offering new generation common data environment.
We in the western world need to make sure that data is protected. At Oracle, we have established different levels of security. Customers all across are increasingly more concerned about security. This cannot be emphasised enough.
