Real-Time Intel Critical for Modern Warfare, says Rajnath Singh

The Honourable Raksha Mantri (Minister of Defense) of India, Shri Rajnath Singh spoke through a video message in the opening plenary on the first day of the Indo-Pacific GeoInt 2023 conference.

The conference focused on the Space Infrastructure and Geospatial Strategy aiding military operations and support in monitoring, evaluating, and incorporating location intelligence into high-level decision-making.

He talked about how โ€œReal-Time Intelligence is a key factor and a critical thought to modern warfare, with India as a nationโ€™s endeavour to support Indo-Pacific countries in developing crucial geospatial technologies and space infrastructureโ€.

He addressed on how Space-based assets and geospatial technologies provide a crucial role in actionable intelligence for defence forces as India is a major stakeholder among the Indo-Pacific nations and one of the top space-faring nations.

The Indian Defence Minister emphasized on how โ€œIt is important to have a peaceful and stable Indo-Pacific, which permits the economic development of the aspiring nations in these regionsโ€.

He was optimistic about The Indo-Pacific GeoIntelligence Conference 2023, with the theme Space Infrastructure and Geoint Strategy, organized by Geospatial World, and was sure of it facilitating trade and technology between nations of the Indo-Pacific region.

With the theme of Shared Vision, the conference in the span of two days focussed on building collective capacity to deal with challenges in the Indo-Pacific region.
