Visual Learning Systems (VLS) & BAE Systems introduced a new feature extraction capability tool, Feature Analyst® for SOCET SET®. The two companies will integrate VLS’s Feature Analyst as an extension to SOCET SET, a digital photogrammetry application. Feature Analyst provides a pathway for automated feature extraction. Feature Analyst for SOCET SET will also provide users with advanced 3-D feature extraction capability. The enhanced version of SOCET SET will be available later this year.
According to David Opitz, VLS chief executive officer, the new integrated product will provide customers with faster and cleaner extractions, while lowering the over-all cost of image interpretation.
In March, VLS and BAE Systems will showcase Feature Analyst for SOCET SET at the 2004 SOCET SET User Conference in San Diego.
