October 21, 2002 – Varion Systems, the software development and value-added reseller division of GeoAnalytics has been hired by the City of Rock Island, IL to implement Govern Software to track the City’s land management activities including permit tracking, inspection logging, issuance of business licenses, and tracking code enforcement activities.
The City will utilize 15 seats of the software including Govern’s embedded GIS component, GovMap. GovMap will provide the City with 100% integrated GIS capability. The City will utilize the Property Control, Workflow, Accounts Receivable/Cash Collection and Permits, Inspections, and Licenses modules. Varion Systems will provide software sales, implementation services, training, and long-term support.
