UrtheCast reports ‘transformative’ Q2

UrtheCastCanada: UrtheCast, which recently acquired Deimos Imaging for $85 million, has reported its earnings for the second quarter of this financial year. The company is reporting revenue of $3.8 million for this quarter. In the same period last year, it had zero revenues. UrtheCast CEO Scott Larson is calling this a transformative quarter for the company. He says that many factors are working in UrtheCast’s favour right now. Iris, its High-Resolution Camera aboard the International Space Station has achieved Initial Operating Capability. The company was able to raise $77 million in equity to finance the acquisition of Deimos Imaging. Also in the last quarter, UrtheCast disclosed its plans for the world's first fully-integrated SAR/Optical constellation.
