Canada: UrtheCast has been advised that the International Space Station program activities have been exempted from the recent decision by the US government to suspend contact with Russian government representatives. International Space Station Operations and Cooperation continue and will not be affected during the current geopolitical issues between Russia and the United States.
“It is business as usual for the Company, as we continue the commissioning of our cameras on the International Space Station,” advised Wade Larson, UrtheCastPresident and COO. “The ISS has long enjoyed a privileged position in international diplomacy and has survived unscathed during multiple international crises in recent years. In fact, we understand that the ISS has been nominated for this year’s Nobel Peace Prize. I think that says a lot.”
