UAE–Trimble Express, a seminar organised by Trimble on the Surveying technology was recently held for the first time in Saudi Arabia. The event was held in Riyadh on 19th April and Jeddah on 21st April.
Trimble Express, which was organised in collaboration with the local Trimble distribution partner AL-Jehat Company, attracted around 200 participants from a mix of government and private organisations such as Jeddah Municipality, Royal Commission, Riyadh Municipality, Military Survey, MORA, Saudi Aramco, Saudi Geological Survey, State Commission For Housing, High Commission For Development Of Riyadh, STC, King Faisal University and Civil Defence Surveying Units . Some of the private organisations which were attended the event were SBG, Zuhair Fayez, Saudi Consult, Khateeb &Almi, CCC, MASCO, AL Harby, Shebh Aljazeera ben gar allaa ,Saudi Comet and RGF. Attendees were introduced to recently released Trimble Access software and they also had the opportunity to learn more about the latest surveying technologies using GPS/GNSS, total stations and 3D scanning that will help to streamline their workflow and significantly increase their productivity. International presenters from Sweden , Germany and Switzerland were on hand to demonstrate these latest technologies to the attendees.
