US: Drone manufacturer TRACE Intelligent Systems is joining forces with 360-degree panoramic imaging solutions provider ImmerVision to give users video apps for use in both commercial and consumer quadcopters. TRACE wants to leverage the auto-follow capability of its visually intelligent auto-follow FLYr drones by merging it with ImmerVision Enables 2.0 live streaming network. TRACE will also integrate ImmerVision Enables technology with its commercial Draganflyer quadcopters. Commercial drone use-cases will see the time required to perform an aerial scan of any area significantly reduced through the ability of the panomorph lens to capture exceptionally wide fields of view.
