Ecuador: The Navarre public company, Tracasa has been selected to provide cartographic and data processing services for a 120,000 square km area in Ecuador. The amount of the tender makes this cartographic project one of the biggest in the world in 2013.
Tracasa has been selected for the lots I and II, through its joint venture with the Spanish company NIPSA, of the tender organised by the Ecuadorian Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries to provide cartographic creation and data processing for a 120,000 square km area of the country during 2014 for $ 17.5 million. The aim of this project, developed by the Ecuadorian Government with the Inter-American Development Bank, is to implement an efficient cadastre and rural land registration system in the country. Tracasa will contribute with its knowledge and technology to achieve this main milestone in the Central American country modernization.
