US: Topcon Positioning Systems has appointed Alan Jones as a senior business development manager for deformation monitoring, effective immediately. Jones has more than two decades of experience of working on geotechnical and structural monitoring projects in North and South America, Europe and Asia. He has worked in both manufacturing and consulting capacities in monitoring dams, bridges, tunnels, pipelines, mines and landslides.
