Russia: TomTom has signed an agreement with the Moscow city council to develop a road plan ready to accommodate future city plans in the field of transport movements over the coming years. An intelligent transport platform will be developed with the aim of improving the current busy and often chaotic situation on the roads in and around Moscow.
In recent years, Moscow has used the TomTom Traffic Index to improve its traffic situation. Muscovites will be able to use information from TomTom, as well as from other sources, to better determine what route the should take.
