The Netherlands – Tele Atlas, a leading global provider of digital maps and dynamic content for navigation and location-based solutions, today announced it has expanded its digital map coverage in southern Europe, including near 100% coverage of Greece, Malta, Italy, Spain and Portugal, and broadened coverage of new regions to the east including Bulgaria and Turkey.
These latest updates will offer consumers traveling to popular holiday destinations in the south and throughout Europe a more enriched navigation experience, helping to find points of interest (POIs), historical sites, even updated speed limit data and more, while adventuring to and from their final destinations.

Updated digital maps and content for Greece, Malta, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Bulgaria and Turkey are available for Tele Atlas partner application developers and device manufacturers in the personal navigation, automotive, Internet and wireless markets with the latest release of Tele Atlas MultiNet® and Tele Atlas MultiNav™ databases.
