Tele Atlas, DLT Solutions to provide GIS data to USDA

Tele Atlas, the digital map data providing firm, and its GSA Schedule partner, DLT Solutions, announced that they are making Tele Atlas MultiNet database and services available to USDA agencies. After a competitive bid analysis, USDA awarded a five-year BPA (Blanket Purchase Agreement) to DLT Solutions to license Tele Atlas North American data and to provide geodatabase development and geocoding services.

This agreement allows specific agencies within United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and selected USDA customers to use Tele Atlas data for their GIS analysis and reporting. The license allows USDA to expand the data use to other USDA groups. Current USDA agencies eligible to license Tele Atlas data per the BPA include:

a) Natural Resources Conservation Service
b) Farm Service Agency
c) Rural Development

— Other USDA Agencies
a) Economic Research Service
b) Cooperative State Research, Education and Extension Service
c) Food Safety and Inspection Service
d) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service
e) National Agricultural Statistics Service

— Office of Procurement and Property Management

— Risk Management Agency

Tele Atlas MultiNet database is based on advanced data collection and verification methodology, and offers comprehensive U.S. rural and urban street network coverage, turn-by-turn coverage with more than 150 attributes, and highly-accurate geocoding match rates for effective resource allocation and decision making.
