< 1 Minute Read

Tanzania: After completing relevant studies on the significance of having a national land survey agency, the government of Tanzania will establish a land survey agency for the nation which will help in addressing the problem of construction on un-surveyed lands.

The Deputy Minister for Lands, Housing and Settlement Development, Goodluck Ole Medeye, said that the country still faces the problem of unmapped homes and squatters. The minister said that only 10% of the entire land in the country was surveyed, thus the government was doing all it could to ensure the problem was checked.
