SPOT Image Corporation and Resource21 has signed a five-year Channel Partnership contract under which Resource21 has been awarded the exclusive distribution rights for SPOT products and services to the U.S. civilian government market. This market includes U.S. Federal, state and local government entities, and all U.S. universities. The contract includes an upfront payment and guaranteed annual revenue minimums over a period of five years.
SPOT’s “Channel Partner” concept is based on business partners who are willing to make a long-term commitment to SPOT in exchange for exclusive rights in some of the largest, well-defined markets. In North America, SPOT Image Corporation now focuses on providing world-class products and services to its Channel Partners, and on continuing to develop less mature markets.
