Australia: A partnership between Australian state New South Wales’ Land and Property Information division and mapping giant Esri Australia has resulted in a new smart mapping technology, called Smarter Scheduling NSW (SSN). The Cloud-based solution enables government agencies, utilities and councils to put up in advance a 10-year schedule of planned infrastructure maintenance and construction. The technology gives stakeholders a chance to coordinate in the schedule, and aims to save both organisations’ and taxpayers’ time and money.
