Singapore: The Singapore Tourism Board has released a suite of digital and mobile services to help Chinese visitors explore the country. Real-time location information on YourSingapore WeChat and Baidu Connect will help Chinese tourists to find their way around Singapore better. For instance, attractions such as River Safari and Gardens by the Bay will be featured in the YourSingapore WeChat Account. Users can also find out more about the Sentosa-HabourFront precinct using Baidu Connect services.
Moreover, the tourism board is collaborating with online travel services Alitrip and Tuniu, and social review sites Dianping and Mafengwo to curate and distribute content on Singapore's destination offerings. All this is being done in the hopes of attracting the digitally-savvy Chinese visitors to Singapore.
