US: Photogrammetry software developer, SimActive has bought Correlator3D from Cornerstone Mapping. The company based in U.S., is using the software to process large datasets of thermal imagery.

โ€œOur main requirement was to process thermal-infrared data for multiple applications including city-wide energy audits, surface water assessment, and rooftop leak detectionโ€, said Aaron Schepers, President of Cornerstone Mapping. โ€œCorrelator3D was chosen after reviewing available professional tools.โ€

โ€œCompanies specialized in aerial surveys such as Cornerstone remain at the core of our client baseโ€, said Dr Philippe Simard, President of SimActive. โ€œThe software is able to process any type of imagery, including multispectral and hyperspectral data, within the same workflow.โ€
