Siemens Digital Industries Software announced an expansion of its partnership with Microsoft to make the Siemens Xcelerator as a Service portfolio of industry software available through Microsoftโs cloud and AI platform Azure and integrate it with generative AI and Copilot features.
This will increase flexibility and choice for Siemensโ customers and make Microsoftโs industry-leading AI solutions more accessible to Siemens customers.
The Siemens Xcelerator as a Service portfolio will be available on Azure, beginning with Teamcenter X which connects frontline factory workers with other departments

Siemens will also develop a Copilot for Microsoft 365 plugin for the Siemens Teamcenter app on Teams to enable workers across the product lifecycle process to track and prioritise their workloads. For example, it will help with summarising outstanding tasks within Teams.
