Serbia: The Republic Geodetic Authority (RGZ), Serbia in cooperation with IGN France International consortium and Astrium EADS, has implemented the project on national infrastructure of geospatial data and the remote sensing centre for Serbia. The project is valued at around EUR 16.24 million.
The project aims to set up a national centre for geospatial data infrastructure and remote sensing in Serbia, in keeping with European standards, through institutional cooperation of government bodies.
Of the total value of the project, around EUR 11.18 million were ensured through a loan agreement with France on data and services for the establishment of national geospatial data infrastructure, while EUR 5.06 million were provided by the Serbian government.
