Sensoria Corporation & Webraska combine technologies to offer in-vehicle wireless navigation

Sensoria Corporation, an embedded server solutions provider for the automotive, defense and other industries; and Webraska, the provider of LBS and Telematics applications and enabling platforms, have announced that Webraska’s award-winning Internet-based wireless navigation services have been integrated with the Sensoria Telematics Environment, an open platform for delivering next-generation telematics services to vehicles.

Sensoria will demonstrate the Webraska navigation services in a vehicle outfitted with the Sensoria Telematics Environment during the Society of Automotive Engineers Digital Car show March 4 to 7, 2002 at the Cobo Center in Detroit. Also being demonstrated are advanced diagnostic, multimedia and mobile content services including news, weather, sports and traffic reports.

Webraska’s IbDNยฎ (Internet-based Distributed Navigationยฎ) technology combines high performance server-based algorithms and architecture with the most recent wireless Internet device and cellular location technologies to offer the most comprehensive navigation solutions. Webraska’s application software and enabling platforms allow telematics service providers, car manufacturers and their partners to provide the car driver with an always up-to-date, real-time navigation service optimized for the car environment.
