Malaysia: Bentley conducted back-to-back half-day seminars in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Singapore to spread awareness about its new release of Bentley Map V8i (SELECT series 2). The newly enhanced software comes in three editions, is designed to meet the different workflow requirements of GIS professionals.
The seminar was opened by Robert Marigliani, Industry Sales Director, Bentley. He presented Bentley’s geospatial strategy and solutions for government, utilities, water, wastewater and communications service providers. Dionnald Beh Boon Heng, Senior Application Engineer, Bentley, demonstrated capabilities of the software.
Bentley Map V8i (SELECTseries 2) features tools for data viewing, editing, 2D/3D analysis, modelling and map creation with the ability to read LiDAR data and create animations on the fly. The seminar attracted about 40 users from different organisations.
