SAM Companies, the provider of professional geospatial and inspection solutions to customers across the utility, transportation, and broader infrastructure industries, announced that it has acquired Carolina Surveying Services, (CSS), a professional geomatics solutions company.
Headquartered in Lexington, South Carolina, in the Columbia metropolitan area, CSS has strong client relationships with national and regional architectural, engineering, and construction (AEC) firms, commercial and residential developers, and municipal and government agencies. SAM’s acquisition of CSS further strengthens their presence and strategic initiatives in the Carolinas and Southeastern markets.
As part of the acquisition, the entire CSS team, including President Dennis Johns, will join SAM. Johns will continue to focus on business development and operations, supporting SAM’s strategic growth plans.
