Seoul: During the recently held Smart Geospatial Expo-2014 Forum in Tashkent on August 26–28, a Memorandum on mutual Understanding was signed between Goskomzemgeodezkadastr (State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Land Resources, Geodesy, Cartography and State Cadastre) and Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of Korea on cooperation in the field of spatial information and land management.
The delegation of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Land Resources, Geodesy, Cartography and State Cadastre had visited the Expo at the invitation of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of South Korea.
The two countries will exchange experiences, and South Korea will familiarise Uzbekistan with the best practices in the field of geographic information systems and the latest technology in the field.
