US: A new interactive map of wind patterns has been created by a software engineer Cameron Beccario. The interactive visualisation of wind patterns — modeled from the US National Weather Service’s Global Forecast System database — provides nearly current weather conditions on the global scale. The map is interactive, and users can click and drag the globe and zoom in and out. The information is updated every three hours, therefore it offers a near-real time look at global weather.
