US: Raytheon is planning to develop the capability to support a 2016 mission planning of DigitalGlobe’s WorldView-4 satellite. Raytheon's Constellation Scheduling System (CSS) is the commercial geospatial mission planning system. WorldView-4 will be the fifth DigitalGlobe satellite to have planning and scheduling support provided by CSS. The system runs routine planning and scheduling automatically. It allows DigitalGlobe to focus on fulfilling customer orders for specific imagery. CSS provides automated costs and resource competence. Raytheon will support the September 2016 launch of the satellite, from Vandenberg Air Force Base.
