Radiant Earth Foundation announced the transition of executive leadership effective September 1, 2020. Anne Hale Miglarese, the founder and CEO, will exit the organization as a full-time employee and remain as a member of the Board of Directors. Hamed Alemohammad, Radiant Earth’s Chief Data Scientist, will also assume the duties of Executive Director of the organization and join the Board of Directors. Board member Jerry Johnston will become the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Anne Hale Miglarese said that she believes that it is the right time and conditions for her to exit Radiant Earth. She added that she is thrilled that Hamed will take over the leadership of Radiant and will continue to be assisted by their diverse and extended team of employees, board members, funders, interns, fellows and the community at large. She looks forward to remaining engaged with the community.
Hamed Alemohammad mentioned that he is excited about this opportunity and honored for the trust of their Board of Directors in him to lead the organization moving forward. Radiant Earth was established with a bold and strong vision, and he is grateful to Anne for her leadership, passion, and dedication to realizing that vision. He adds that this is an exciting time for the entire team, and they look forward to working with their partners, collaborators, and all members of the community.
