A new Internet web site increasing public access to property appraiser records is now available. David C. Nolte, ASA, Indian River County Property Appraiser announced the new site developed by Digital Data Technologies, Inc. in cooperation with the Indian River County Property Appraiser’s office. The site, located at www.ircpa.org, will be updated daily and combines graphical and tabular data to allow taxpayers quick and easy access to complete property records in an easy to use web interface. Available data includes photographs, maps, aerial photographs, and ownership and sales information. Data on the new web site is searchable by address, parcel number and owners name as well as by graphic selection on a map. Search results are displayable on maps or in tabular form. The ability of taxpayers to access appraisal records maps and photos without the assistance of county staffers, is expected to provide significant opportunities for the Property Appraiser’s staff to more effectively meet the increasing professional demands of the office.
