US: Come in March at the SATELLITE 2017 program to explore the growing possibilities of a new world of applications and services for businesses, organisations and govt. agencies to integrate in their daily operations. The event is happening at Walter E Washington Convention Center, Washington DC in March from 6-9.
The event will feature a new Innovation Forum, packed with short keynote-style presentations that are exploring where satellite connectivity is headed and how it is shaping the future.
To talk about satellite’s serviceability, NASA’s Deputy Program Manager, Benjamin Reed is coming to SATELLITE 2017, to outline what steps owners and operators can take to prepare their f1leets for servicing calls and ensure that the industry is fully prepared to reap the benefits of a servicing-enabled paradigm. He will also present a keynote directed to satellite manufacturers and operators.
As far as the global sensing revolution is concerned, co-founder and chief strategy officer of Join Planet, Robbie Schingler will be present for a discussion exploring advanced applications of daily earth-imaging and the global sensing revolution in both commercial and humanitarian sectors.
Further, Joe Rothenberg, Director of Innovation for Google’s Terra Bella will join SSTL U.S. CEO John Paffett and a special guest from the U.S. Department of Commerce for this keynote presentation. The space economy cannot flourish without technological advancements. Therefore, industry veterans Joe Rothenberg and John Paffett will instruct attendees about the next wave of innovations that will revolutionize how the world commoditizes space.
