
US: Considering a great numbers of drone professionals’ request, Drone mapping software company, Pix4D has decided to launch a global workshop on the need for training people about drone flying. The company has started to launch a global training program that will offer technical workshops around the world to support the expansion of drone mapping by professionals.
Various countries including Australia, Korea, Japan, China, Switzerland, Mexico and the United States will host the program in different parts to train the drone users in their businesses. The sessions, ranging from a half day to four days in length, will cover both the theory behind it and will practice using of Pix4Dmapper photogrammetry software.
In some of the sample topics that it will cover, will include flight planning and data acquisition; best processing practices; accuracy and ground control points; advanced software features; and surface, linear and volume measurements.
