ESRI has announced that Perupetro, the Peruvian government agency responsible for the administration of petroleum exploration permits and concessions, has selected its software for the management of the agency’s technical database for hydrocarbons.
The database is one of the largest in Latin America and represents one of the most important reference guides for investors in the oil and gas industries in the region.
Perupetro is implementing ESRI’s ArcGIS software for centralized database management and analysis and ArcIMS for the development of an Internet site to market oil and gas information products to both local and international companies.
