US: The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) is organising a Geospatial/BIM/Indoor Location workshop that will focus on developing a work programme to bridge standards gaps between geospatial, BIM and Indoor Location technologies. According to the companies official site, Work by standards bodies such as OGC, ISO/TC 59 (Buildings and civil engineering works) and buildingSMART International will be presented. The presentations are expected to shape subsequent discussion about how the organisations might work together to demonstrate data flows and use cases connecting these domains. The workshop will take place in Boulder, Colorado.
