The Awards will be conferred during India Geospatial Forum 2015, the premier geospatial conference of India being held during 10-12 February 2015, at Hyderabad International Convention Centre, Hyderabad, India.

This has undoubtedly been made possible by cutting-edge technology solutions, innovations in applications and a forward looking approach in policy making. India Geospatial Awards recognize and encourage innovations and excellence brought forward by geospatial technology developers, professionals, end users and policy makers that have fostered the geospatial industry in India, working toward raising its profile, enhancing utilisation and strengthening business opportunities.
Nominations are invited in the following categories:
India Geospatial Excellence Awards: For exemplary usage of geospatial tools implemented in India in various sectors including Governance, Utilities, Energy, Construction, Infrastructure, Rural development, Urban development, Agriculture, Health, Disaster management, Financial services, Environment, Mining and Land administration, others
India Geospatial Policy Awards: For policy makers and implementers whose work directly impacts development of geospatial science, technology and business in India.

All the nominations will be scrutinized by a jury comprising eminent personalities from the geospatial industry in India.
