US: The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Visualization Lab has launched a new web app called WeatherView. The app shows a near real-time animation of weather patterns around the globe. It pairs wind patterns with several other metrics, like pressure, temperature, precipitation. You can change the time to see current and future weather conditions around the world. You can also explore a number of other filters to see how the wind and other atmospheric conditions relate to each other.
