Nigeria: The Kano State Government, Nigeria, will spend N700 million (approx $4.4 million) to boost its Geographic Information system (KANGIS) in 2014. The Commissioner for Planning and Budget, Alhaji Yusuf Danbatta revealed this.
Danbatta said that the state government had fixed January 2, 2014 for the take-off of the re-certification of landed properties in the state. He urged land owners to take proper advantage of the re-certification process to secure and protect their properties.
