NGA seeks input on new, improved mapping tools

< 1 Minute Read

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency is considering a configurable mapping platform that developers can use to deploy modern, intuitive, customizable, dynamic and responsive maps on both mobile and desktop clients.

NGA wants the user-friendly mapping platform to help developers easily build and share customized maps and geo applications, visualize large geospatial datasets and perform complex graphic information system analysis. Any such platform would use APIs to expose appropriate and relevant features, tools and maps, deploy and scale in a cloud hosted virtual or containerized environment, host a variety of geospatial datasets and process NGA imagery while overlaying it with other data.
